We've gotten a ton of info on the MSI Wind, but so far pricing details have been a closely-
guarded secret. Good thing we've got wonder-importers Expansys to help us out, though -- they've just listed the Wind at the pretty decent price of $610. That's not bad for a 10-inch screen, 1.6GHz processor (supposedly an Atom), 1GB of RAM, an 80GB disk and XP, but let's hope things get even cheaper when this thing hits the US for real.

Definitely a nice competitor of the actual Eee or HP UMPC... If only Sony, Toshiba, Fujitsu and the other Japanese makers would move their fat asses, we would surely appreciate it.

Zoomgadget.com: MSI has just reveled more information over its cheap Wind Laptop. The 2.2lb Wind will run on Window XP with up to 1GB RAM. It features a 8.9-inch or 10-inch wide LCD display with 1024x600 pixels resolution but it has a large 2.5-inch HDD with an 80GB capacity. What makes it so special is the 7 hours battery life. Available in Europe in June for $471 - $1100 depend on your selection.
